Pedestrian Dies After Being Struck By Cars In Rochester Hills

ROCHESTER HILLS (WWJ) - Officials say a pedestrian has died after being struck by two cars in Rochester Hills.

The victim, 68-year-old Young Homrich of Rochester Hills, was walking in front of the Avon On The Lake mobile home park along Auburn Road between Adams and Crooks roads just after 6 a.m. Wednesday when the accident happened.

Oakland County Sheriff's investigators say early information is the drivers involved were not at fault. It took some time for authorities to identify the woman, as she wasn't carrying any ID.

Auburn Road was closed between Crooks and Technology Drive as authorities investigated the crash site, but has since reopened.

The crash remains under investigation.
