Caught On Camera: Suspect Steals Dozens Of Razors From Rite-Aid [VIDEO]

DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police are asking the public for help identifying a suspect who was caught on camera stealing dozens of razors from a business on the city's west side.

The robbery happened around 5:20 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 23 at a Rite-Aid in the 18400 block of Fenkell, just west of the Southfield Freeway.

Police say the suspect entered the store and walked around as though he was shopping but when the 34-year-old clerk checked on him, she noticed that the suspect was cutting expensive razors from the security shelf with a box cutter.

As the clerk confronted the suspect, police say he threatened the employee and continued removing razors from the shelf. He then fled the location on foot toward Grand River Avenue. Police say he got away with approximately 45 Gilette Fusion Razors.
