Crooks Caught On Camera In Dooley's Bar Break-In [VIDEO]

ROSEVILLE (WWJ) - Police have released video of the crime as they search for suspects in a break-in and robbery at a popular Macomb County tavern.

It happened shortly before 5 a.m. Monday at Dooley's Draft Beer House at 32500 Gratiot in Roseville.

Police say a glass door on the south side of the building was broken out with a sledgehammer, as seen on security video (beginning at 04:56:55) released Tuesday.

The suspect is able to gain entry, pry open a Michigan Lottery machine, grab some money and leave — all in about 30 seconds.

Bar owner Frank Sgroi said the robbers got away with thousands of dollars in Keno cash that the bar will be responsible for paying back.

He said it was no secret that that particular machine was a lucky one.

"In the last few months we've had a number of Keno winners totaling $200,000. We've had three people hit the jack(pot), which is kind of unheard of in the Keno world," he told WWJ's Dave Ramos.

No one was hurt. Sgroi said his aunt was inside the bar at the time of the crime and called 911, but police believe the suspects didn't realize anyone was there.

Officers did not arrive in time to catch the robbers who fled the scene in a red, older model sedan – possibly a Chevrolet Lumina.

The suspects were both wearing hoodies and gloves, but no further description was available.

Anyone who may know these suspects or who has any information about this crime is asked to call Det. Jacob Sidaway at 586-447-4511 or the Roseville Police Department front desk at 586-447-4483
