Police Warning Parents After Man Approaches Kids At Bus Stop

REDFORD TOWNSHIP (WWJ) – Police in Redford Township are looking for a suspicious person and vehicle.

Reportedly around 4:30 p.m., a white man in a black Chevy Trailblazer was observed asking children (believed to be around 6 or 7 years old) if they wanted a ride home from bus stop at Midland and Lexington — which is in the 5 Mile and Inkster road area.

Authorities report the man then left east bound when the person who reported the incident saw him.

The suspicious person is believed to be in his late 30’s with short black hair and scratches on his face.
