Three Suspects Wanted In Cigarette Theft From Detroit Family Dollar Store [VIDEO]

DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police are asking the public for help identifying three suspects who stole several packages of cigarettes from a dollar store on the city's west side.

The robbery happened around 9:15 p.m. on Thursday, September 22 at the Family Dollar store on Telegraph and 7 Mile roads.

Police say the suspects entered the store and acted as if they were making a purchase. As the store manager was in the process of completing the suspect's transaction, the suspect went behind the counter and took several boxes of cigarettes from the shelf. Two other males who were with the suspect also went behind the counter, forced the clerk out of the way and took cigarettes as well.

After taking the items, all three suspects fled the location in a silver Dodge Neon. No injuries were reported.

The first suspect is described as a black male with a light complexion, medium build and a bald head. He was wearing a black and gray shirt and gray pants.

The second suspect is described as a black  male wearing a blue shirt and blue jeans. The third suspect is described as a black male wearing a black shirt, dark-colored pants and a black hat.
