Police Search For Missing Man, Stolen Pickup Truck

RILEY TOWNSHIP (WWJ) - The St. Clair County Sheriff's Office is asking the public for help locating a missing 29-year-old man who might be driving a stolen pickup truck.

Police say Timothy Hord, who lives in Detroit, was last seen Wednesday morning at Peter's Brothers Farm on Stapleton Road in Riley Township, nearly 60 miles away.

Deputies were called to the farm to take a report of a stolen truck. When they arrived, the owners said a pickup truck had been stolen from the farm, while another truck was left behind. That truck was registered to Hord

Officials contacted Hord's family, who said he had been acting erratically recently and sporadically missing work. According to police, Hord's family believes he may be suffering from paranoia; they had no idea as to why he would drive his truck nearly 60 miles from Detroit to Riley Township, just outside of Memphis.

The truck taken by Hord is a dark blue Ford F-150 four-door pickup truck, with a Michigan license plate of AC97031. The truck has an American flag wind deflector on the hood, along with a front plate that says Peter's Brothers Farm.

Hord is described as a white male, approximately 6-feet tall and 210 pounds. Police say it's possible that he may be armed.

Police are asking anyone who sees Hord or the truck to call 911 immediately. Anyone with other information is urged to contact police at 810-987-1738.
