Tips Wanted After Armed Men In Halloween Masks Rob Dairy Mart [PHOTOS]

YPSILANTI TWP. (WWJ) - Police and Crime Stoppers are asking the public for help to identify two men wanted for an armed robbery and assault at a Dairy Mart store in Ypsilanti Township.

It happened Monday, Oct. 17, in the 2300 block of Grove Road near Rawsonville and Bridge Road — and now a $1,000 reward is being offered for tips in the case.

According to police, a man wearing a mask and armed with a pistol entered the store at 12:40 a.m. and struck one victim in the head. He then took the cash from the cash register and retrieved a shotgun that was sitting near the register.

That's when a second masked suspect entered store and the pair fled the scene with the cash, the shotgun and the victim's personal items.

Suspect number one is a black male with a heavy build. He was wearing what was described as a silver hockey-style Halloween mask and gloves and was carrying a semi-automatic pistol.

Suspect number two is a black make with a medium build and was wearing a silver Halloween mask and gloves.

Crime Stoppers reminds the public that these suspect should be considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone who sees these wanted criminals or knows of their whereabouts is urged not to try to apprehend them, but to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP. Tips may also be submitted online at this link, or by texting CSM and the tip to CRIMES (2746370). Cash rewards are paid upon an arrest and conviction.
