$1 Million Winning Mega Millions Ticket Sold In Lansing
LANSING (WWJ) - If you've recently purchased a Mega Millions lottery ticket in Lansing — you could be $1 million richer.
Michigan Lottery officials say one ticket sold at the Waverly EZ Mart at 1700 South Waverly Road matched five numbers in Tuesday night's drawing — just one short of hitting the jackpot.
The winning numbers were 7-24-28-65-74, Mega Ball 1.
If you have the golden ticket, contact the Michigan Lottery Public Relations Division at 517-373-1237 to schedule an appointment to collect your winnings from the lottery's headquarters in Lansing.
Ten other tickets sold in Michigan are worth $500, for matching four white balls, and another 61 are good for $50, for matching three white balls plus the Mega Ball.
The next Mega Millions drawing is on Friday. As it stands now, the jackpot is an estimated $25 million — with a $16 million cash option.
