Frost Advisory In Effect Throughout Much Of Metro Detroit

DETROIT (WWJ) -- The first wave of chilly weather is due to hit parts of Metro Detroit overnight into Saturday morning.

The National Weather Service issued a Frost Advisory for Lenawee, Livingston, Macomb, Monroe, Oakland, St. Clair, Washtenaw and Wayne Counties, in effect from 11 p.m. Friday until 8 a.m. Saturday.

Residents can expect areas of frost particularly for inland areas away from Lake Huron. Temperatures are expected to fall between 32 and 37 degrees.

Exposed vegetation may be damaged or exposed. Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered.
