If the season ended today, it's safe to say that No. 3 Michigan would earn a spot in the College Football Playoff. But according to the Vegas sports book Golden Nugget, the Wolverines wouldn't have a great chance of winning.

Golden Nugget released lines on 15 possible championship games and Michigan is listed as an underdog in four of its five potential matchups.

Against the Wolverines, No.1 Alabama is favored by 8.5 points, No. 2 Ohio State is favored by 2.5 points and both No.4 Clemson and No. 7 Louisville are favored by 1.5 points.

No. 5 Washington is the only team listed as an underdog against Michigan. The Wolverines are favored by 2.5 points over the Huskies.

Alabama is the clear-cut favorite, giving at least seven points to each of the aforementioned teams.

The National Championship Game will be held on Jan. 9 in Tampa, Fla. Both semifinal games will be held on New Year's Eve.

Including its matchup Saturday against Illinois, Michigan has six games remaining. The Wolverines will end the season with a potentially huge road game at Ohio State on Nov. 26.
