Lions Sign OL Matt Rotheram To Practice Squad, Release RB Mike James From Practice Squad

Allen Park, Mich. – The Detroit Lions announced today that they have signed OL Matt Rotheram to the team's practice squad and released RB Mike James from the practice squad.

Rotheram (6-5, 325) comes to Detroit after most recently spending time on the Philadelphia Eagles' practice squad. Prior to Philadelphia, he entered the NFL as an undrafted rookie free agent out of Pittsburgh in 2015 and spent last season as a member of the Green Bay Packers practice squad before being released by the team on August 22, 2016.
