Suspect Caught On Camera In Detroit Home Invasion [VIDEO]

DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police have release security camera video as they search for several suspects wanted in a home invasion.

The crime happened the night of Monday, Sept. 5, in the  6700 block of LongAcre near W. Warren Ave. and the Southfield Freeway on the city's west side.

According to police, a suspect approached the 47 year-old female victim's home at around 9:45 p.m. and knocked on the door.

When the victim saw the unknown man in the front and other suspects approaching her home from the rear, she got scared — then exiting the home and running to safety.

She returned later with police and found her home had been broken into.

The victim was not injured.

Video from a camera on the woman's front porch shows the suspect who knocked on the door — a black male with facial hair and a heavy build, wearing a white or white colored t-shirt.
