Woman Goes Missing On Detroit's West Side

DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police are asking the public for help locating a woman who hasn't been seen or heard from in weeks.

Police on Tuesday said 48-year-old Twila Bellamy was reported missing by her sister.

The woman told police she went to check on Bellamy at her west side home in the 18000 block of Fenmore, near Outer Drive and the Southfield Freeway, because no one had heard from her in the past two weeks -- and she was not at the location.

Bellamy is said to be in good physical condition, but she suffers from depression. She's described as a black female with a light complexion, 5'3" tall and 200 lbs. with brown eyes and black hair. It's not known what she was wearing when she was last seen.

Anyone who sees Bellamy or knows of her whereabouts is urged to contact police at 313-596-5840.
