Bridget Caplin on Monday issued a no contest plea to distributing obscene matter to a child and using a computer to commit a crime. A charge of third-degree criminal sexual conduct was dropped earlier this month after the alleged victim refused to testify, according to reports.

Wayne County Judge Gregory Bill allowed Caplin to enter a no-contest plea after she voiced concerns for future civil liability.

Earlier this month, a third-degree criminal sexual charge was dismissed against Caplin after her alleged victim refused to testify.

Police say the investigation began back in May when authorities received an anonymous tip that Caplin was engaging in "oral sex with minors and buying them alcohol." An investigation including subpoenas for cell phone and online data, led to Caplin's arrest on Oct. 14.  At least two young boys were identified as victims, the Detroit News reported.

Caplin was put on administrative leave from her position at East Middle School after the allegations came to light.

Caplin is due back in court for sentencing on January 11.
