Teachers Wanted: Henry Ford College Holding Job Fair For Part-Time Instructors

DEARBORN (WWJ/AP) - Henry Ford College in Dearborn  is looking for instructors to teach during its upcoming winter, spring and summer semesters.

The school is holding an adjunct faculty job fair at 11 a.m. on Nov. 30 in its Administrative Services & Conference Center. The fair is free and open to the public.

Anyone looking to teach should bring copies of their resumes, transcripts and professional licenses and certifications for on-site screening interviews.

To apply, you must have a master's degree in the subject matter directly related to the teaching assignment, or a master's degree in an unrelated area plus 18 graduate credit hours in the subject matter directly related to the teaching assignment. Teaching in occupational specializations such as automotive technology, manufacturing maintenance, medical insurance billing or welding requires various combinations of education, work experience and licenses/certifications.

Henry Ford College has 21,000 students. It offers more than 100 programs and awards associate degrees, certificates, and a bachelor's degree in culinary arts.
