The Lions' offense was sputtering through much of the first half versus the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. Fortunately, Andre Roberts was there to bail them out.

The special teams maven returned a Brad Nortman punt 55 yards to the end zone early in the second quarter.

The touchdown was a measure of redemption for Roberts. Earlier in the game, he fumbled a punt deep in Lions' territory, setting up a field goal for the Jags.

It was Roberts' second punt return touchdown of the season, the first one coming in Week 4 against the Chicago Bears. He is the fourth player in franchise history to have two punt return TD's in the same season, and the first since 2004 (Eddie Drummond).

Prior to Roberts' touchdown, the Lions offense was nowhere to be found. They had gained just 17 yards on their first four drives and were averaging 1.1 yards per play.
