3 Shot On Detroit's West Side

DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police are investigating a triple shooting on the city's west side.

Police told WWJ Newsradio 950 it happened around noon on Monday in a neighborhood at Calvert and Dexter, near West Chicago Rd. The victims are believed to include two women, ages 34 and 46, and a man in his 40s.

All three were taken by EMS to a local hospital for treatment. Their conditions were not immediately known.

There has been no word of any arrests in the case and it's unclear at this time if police are still searching for the shooter. A motive and other details remain under investigation.

No names were released.
