Detroit Tigers Announce Roster Moves

Roster Moves: Prior to today's game, the Tigers have optioned lefthanded pitcher Blaine Hardy to Triple A Toledo.

Omar Infante likely will not report to Toledo. He has an option and can choose where he will play.

Really tough cuts for Hardy and Presley. Both performed admirably. Will play at Toledo, could be summoned soon, especially Hardy

Brendan Ryan also played extremely well. Can't imagine he couldn't help some big-league team as infield utility.

Additionally, the Tigers have reassigned righthanded pitcher Angel Nesbitt, catcher Miguel Gonzales, infielders Omar Infante, Efren Navarro and Brendan Ryan and outfielder Alex Presley to minor league camp. The Tigers have 29 players remaining in major league camp.
