LIVONIA (WWJ) – Residents in Livonia no longer need to boil their water.

All water tests by the Great Lakes Authority show no bacterial contamination of the system — following a power outage at a water pumping station Sunday.

A boil water advisory, that was put into effect by Livonia officials as a precaution, has now been lifted.

Residents can use water as normal.
