Emergency Landing Forces Closure Of Alpena Combat Readiness Training Center

ALPENA (WWJ) - The Alpena Combat Readiness Training Center is closed after a plane had to make an emergency landing.

According to Selfridge Air National Guard Base, the pilot of an A-10 Thunderbolt II was conducting training activities at the Grayling Training Complex when a malfunction forced him to divert and land.

There were no injuries connected to the emergency landing.

An investigation is underway.
