Daughter Charged In Stabbing Death Of Mother In Detroit
DETROIT (WWJ) - A Detroit woman has been charged in the fatal stabbing of her own mother.
Thirty-one-year-old Jaquetta Coopwood faces a charge of second degree murder. Police say the woman got into an argument with her mom, 56-year-old Pandora Hassan, in a home on Appoline, on Sunday night.
That's when, according to police, she stabbed her mother in the chest. She was taken to the hospital and later pronounced dead.
Coopwood is expected back in court on August 23.
