Motorcyclist Hits Dog In Road, Crashes And Dies

(WWJ) A Port Huron motorcyclist who hit a dog wandering in the road has died after crashing his bike.

The St. Clair County Sheriff's Department says 47-year old Jesse Weber was riding yesterday afternoon on Beard Road near Brown, when he hit the dog and was thrown off the motorcycle.

The Port Huron man suffered head injuries and died. He was not wearing a helmet.

There's no word on how the dog is doing.
