Stranger Danger! Teen Says Man Offers Ride, Follows Him In Redford

REDFORD (WWJ) -- Police are sending out an alert to parents after a case of stranger danger in Redford.

A 14-year-old boy reports being asked if he "needed a ride" by a middle aged white man. The man had a scruffy beard and was wearing a red baseball hat. He was driving a rusty, green full-sized van.

The incident happened in the area of 6 Mile and Beech Daly Roads. The teen says he saw the van again after he ran from the scene.
