STERLING HEIGHTS (WWJ) — A 26-feet tall sculpture will be going up in Sterling Heights next week.

The new sculpture is called “The Seed.” The artwork, which is made of steel and blown glass, will stand in the traffic circle at Dodge Park and Utica Roads.

The sculpture was designed and created by Erik and Israel Nordin from the Detroit Design Center.

An installation ceremony is planned for next Tuesday afternoon at 5 p.m.
