Report: Coast Guard Searching For Snowmobiler Who Fell Through Ice

NEWPORT (WWJ) - The U.S. Coast Guard is reportedly searching for a snowmobiler in Lake Erie.

Reports say the motorist may have fallen through the ice on the lake in Newport, near the Fermi Power Plant. A Coast Guard helicopter is being used in the search in Monroe County.

No further information has been provided by the Coast Guard to WWJ.
