ST. CLAIR SHORES (WWJ) – A lockdown at Lake Shore High School in St. Clair Shores has been lifted after a Monday morning scare.
A single bullet was reportedly found in the weight room, but school officials say nothing was found during a full sweep of the school. They’re now calling the incident “a hoax.”
Students and teachers were operating as normal in the afternoon, although there is a heightened level of security at the school, on 13 Mile Road near Greater Mack.
It’s unclear at this time where the report about the bullet initiated.
No one was hurt, and officials tell WWJ Newsradio 950 that police don’t believe there is any danger.
