Players React To NFL Banning Dunks Over Crossbar, Sealing Its Reputation As ‘No Fun League’

NFL vice president of officiating Dean Blandino announced Tuesday that dunking over the crossbars will be prohibited beginning in the 2014 season.

NFL Bans Dunking Over Crossbar; Jimmy Graham, Tony Gonzalez Respond

Evidently, the event that spurred the change was a two-handed slam by Graham in 2013 that knocked the crossbar out of alignment.
