Ha! Theodore you are a funny man. No doubt Detroit has some serious issues…I owned a home in the city for 14 1/2 years. For a while, I could set my clock by what time my garbage would be picked up, and Rouge Park was well maintained. Unfortunately, over the years I saw services cut and the park became the “new” place to leave your bulk pickup items. We also had to pay for private snow removal through our neighborhood community group. Good times! Of course my experience sounds much less exciting than yours. Have you thought about writing a book? You certainly have a way with words. Maybe a blog about the D? Have a fantastic day and keep your eye out for Lil’ J.

Where do you live? Care to share what you like about your area? Some of us really love Michigan and the Detroit area. I consider it a well kept secret and I’m here by choice. And no, I am not a “purveyor of narcotics” as you suggest. -Amy
