Finished in 2002, Ford Field is the youngest of the Detroit stadiums. It's a top notch facility for both NFL football, concerts and fringe sporting events like motocross and monster truck rallies. Consistently rated as a top venue for NFL football for value, and overall experience – Lions fans have something to cheer about.

According to the official site, Ford Field claims the best sight lines of any football stadium in the United States, made available by a design that omits the traditional club and suite levels, thereby lowering the upper level. There are a total of 65,000 seats, including 8,500 club seats that feature wide padded seats, private lounges, upscale food service, and preferred parking. There are plans to host up to 120 events during the first year of operation, including Detroit Lions football games, sporting events, concerts, banquets, tradeshows, business meetings, and conventions. The expected combined attendance of all events in the first year is 1.5 million. A restaurant-quality dining experience for suites, private clubs, specialty concessions and special events of all sizes will be provided by Levy Restaurants Sports and Entertainment Group.

Tickets

Advance Ticket Sales: The Ford Field Ticket Office is located outside of Gate A on the southwest side of the stadium. During Lions games, advance ticket sales for upcoming events at Ford Field will be sold at the indoors ticket windows, just inside of Gate A.

Children two (2) years of age and under will be permitted to enter Ford Field for Detroit Lions home games without a ticket. They must be seated on a parent or guardian's lap and must not interfere with the sightlines and/or enjoyment of other fans. Strollers, infant car seats and carriers are not permitted.

Coming And Going

Ford Field is located at 2000 Brush St, just south of I-75 (Fisher Freeway) and directly across Brush St from Comerica Park. Below are suggested routes to Ford Field.

From southwest Detroit Downriver suburbs and Toledo:
Follow northbound I-75 (Fisher Freeway) and exit at Grand River Avenue (Exit 50). Proceed on the I-75 Service Drive across Grand River and Woodward Avenues. Continue on the Service Drive and turn right on Brush St. Proceed one block and turn left on to Montcalm, Ford Field will be on the right. Suggested alternate: Follow northbound I-75 (Fisher Freeway) and exit Gratiot Ave South. Sharp right turn on Gratiot. continue on Gratiot and Ford Field will be on the right.

From Ann Arbor, Metro Airport and western suburbs:
Follow I-94 (Ford Freeway) eastbound to southbound I-75 (Chrysler Freeway) to I-375 and exit at Madison Avenue (exit on the left). Turn right at the first light, St. Antoine. Proceed one block and Ford Field will be on the left. Suggested alternate: Follow I-94 (Ford Freeway) eastbound to Woodward/John R exit. Turn right on John R and proceed to the I-75 Service Drive. Turn left on the Service Drive and proceed one block to Brush. Turn right on Brush and proceed one block. Ford Field will be on the left.

From Lansing from Lansing, Novi, northern Wayne and Western Oakland county suburbs: 
(From Lansing, Novi area, take I-96 East to I-275 South to continue on I-96 East). Take I-96 East to I-75 (Fisher Freeway) North and exit at Grand River Avenue (Exit 50). Proceed on the I-75 Service Drive across Grand River and Woodward Avenues. Continue on the Service Drive and turn right on Brush St. Proceed one block and turn left on to Montcalm, Ford Field will be on the right. Suggested alternate: (From Lansing, Novi area, take I-96 East to I-275 South to continue on I-96 East). Take I-96 East to I-75 (Fisher Freeway) North and exit Gratiot Ave South. Sharp right turn on Gratiot. Continue on Gratiot and Ford Field will be on the right.

From Southfield Northwestern Detroit, northern suburbs and Oakland County:
Follow M-10 (Lodge Freeway) South and exit at Grand River Avenue. Proceed on Grand River to the I-75 Service Drive. Turn left onto the I-75 Service Drive and continue across Woodward Avenue. Continue on the Service Drive and turn right on Brush Street. Proceed one block and turn left on to Montcalm, Ford Field will be on the right. Suggested alternates: (1) Follow M-10 (Lodge Freeway) South and exit at Bagley (exit on left). Proceed on Bagley to Park. Turn right on Park and follow circle around to Woodward. Turn left on Woodward and proceed three blocks to Montcalm. Turn right on Montcalm and proceed two blocks and Ford Field will be on the right. (2) Follow M-10 (Lodge Freeway) South and the Lodge ends at Jefferson. Proceed on Jefferson to Woodward. Turn left on Woodward and follow north to Montcalm. Turn right on Montcalm and proceed two blocks and Ford Field will be on the right.

From Pontiac, Troy and Northern Detroit suburbs:
Follow southbound I-75 (Chrysler Freeway) to I-375 and exit at Madison Avenue (exit on the left). Turn right at the first light, St. Antoine St. Proceed one block and Ford Field will be on the left. Suggested alternates: (1) Follow southbound I-75 (Chrysler Freeway) to Mack Ave exit. Turn right on Mack and turn left at the fourth stop light, John R. Proceed on John R to the I-75 Service Drive. Turn left on the Service Drive and proceed one block to Brush St. Turn right on Brush and Ford Field will be on the left. (2) Follow southbound I-75 (Chrysler Freeway) to I-375 to the Lafayette Ave exit. Turn right on Lafayette and proceed to St Antoine. Turn right on St Antoine and continue north. Ford Field will be on the left.

From Port Huron, Grosse Pointe and eastern suburbs:
Follow I-94 (Ford Freeway) West to I-75 (Chrysler Freeway) South. Follow I-75 South to I-375 and exit at Madison Avenue (exit on the left). Turn right at the first light, St. Antoine St. Proceed one block and Ford Field will be on the left. Suggested alternates: (1) Follow I-94 (Ford Freeway) West to I-75 (Chrysler Freeway) South. Follow I-75 South to I-375 and exit at Lafayette Ave Turn right on Lafayette and proceed to St Antoine. Turn right on St Antoine and continue north. Ford Field will be on the left. (2) Follow I-94 (Ford Freeway) West to Woodward/Brush exit. Turn left on John R and proceed to the I-75 Service Drive. Turn left on the Service Drive and proceed one block to Brush. Turn right on Brush and proceed one block. Ford Field will be on the left.

From Canada - Ambassador Bridge:
Take I-75 North to exit 50 (Grand River Ave). Proceed on the I-75 Service Drive across Grand River and Woodward Avenues. Continue on the Service Drive and turn right on Brush St. Proceed one block and turn left on to Montcalm, Ford Field will be on the right. Suggested alternate: Head straight across Jefferson Ave. onto Randolph. Turn right one block past Jefferson onto Larned. Proceed one block and turn left at Brush St., continue North on Brush Street for 8 blocks and turn Right on Madison Avenue. Travel East 2 blocks and turn left on to St. Antoine Street, the Ford Field will be on the left.

Parking
Facilities adjacent to Ford Field and Comerica Park are available during games and events on a first come, first serve basis. The Ford Field Parking Deck and Lots 4, 5 & 6 are managed by Ampco System Parking. Lots 1, 2, 3, W, and the Lions/Tigers Garage are the closest lots managed by Olympia Entertainment. There are numerous parking lots surrounding Ford Field that operate public parking. We have compiled a listing of preferred lot owners and contact numbers for your convenience, which may be found on the Ford Field Parking Map. Access to parking facilities is generally three hours prior to kick-off. Vehicles will be directed into spaces and reserving spaces is not allowed. Tailgating and re-entry access is prohibited in parking facilities adjacent to Ford Field.

Accessible Parking
All Ford Field Parking Facilities are ADA compliant. The reserved disabled spaces are for use by guests that have the appropriate disabled permit and a state-issued license plate or placard. An additional disabled parking area will be available for game days only in Lot 4 (located just north of Ford Field, east of Brush and south of Montcalm). Enter this lot from Montcalm. This area is available for guests with disabilities on a first come, first serve basis.

Shuttles
The shuttle van and mini bus staging area is located on Adams Street, between Witherell and John R. Shuttles may drop off and pick up their guests in this area. This is strictly a staging area, not a parking area. Drop-offs can begin two hours before game time. Staging for pickups will begin at the start of the fourth quarter. Please contact area venues for their shuttle service availability.
