Lauren BartholdLauren Barthold knew she wanted to work in journalism ever since she was a little girl – while her friends watched cartoons, she watched the news.

Lauren studied communication and journalism at Oakland University. She worked at the school’s radio station, 88.3FM WXOU as the News Director, Program Director, and General Manager where she was awarded “Best Daily Newscast” and “Best Current Events Program” from the Michigan Association of Broadcasters.

When Lauren’s not writing news stories, you can find her enjoying concerts, taking in a Tigers game, baking, or spending time with friends and family.
