Hi there! I guess you’re wondering who wants to get up before 3 a.m. for work every day…I do! Each morning, I write much of the news that you hear on WWJ. I also handle a lot of the podcasts and news stories that make it to our cyberspace home. Despite the early hours, it’s fun working amid the “controlled chaos” in our newsroom.
I was born in the great state of Virginia, but after 6 years in sunny Florida, I was bitten by the radio bug upon moving here in 1996. When I’m not at work, I like to spend time with my wife Sharon, and our children–Benjamin and Katherine. Anything witty or punny is worthy of my attention, too–I dabble in comedy and improvisation Another hobby, Public Address announcing, has taken me to Ford Field, Compuware Sports Arena, and the Michigan State Fairgrounds Coliseum.
I’m a 1992 Finance graduate of the University of North Florida and a 1997 graduate of the Specs Howard School of Broadcast Arts. I carried the Olympic Torch in 1996 and completed the 2005 Free Press Marathon. It was my first marathon…and my last!
Drop me a line and thanks for tuning in!
I was hoping to unveil our reunion details this time around, but there’s still a bit more work to do.

After finding so many classmates so early, I’m afraid I’ll have to find them again.

One long chat ends with a wrong number; another ends with a polite warning about having my heart cut out if I know too much.
No matter what you’ve got going on in your life, I bet there’s a classmate who can relate.
