Syma Chowdhry
Syma is the Morning News Anchor for First Forecast Mornings which airs weekday mornings between 5 and 7 a.m.
Chowdhry joins Jill Washburn and Randy Bhirdo on the First Forecast Mornings team.
Syma comes to Detroit and CBS 62 from New Jersey where she appeared on the Morning Show and Weekend Edition on News 12, the largest 24-hour regional news channel in the country, reaching nearly two million homes in the New York metropolitan area.
Prior to that, she worked in various on-air and production positions for The University Network and News 14 Carolina in Raleigh. A New Jersey native, Chowdhry is a Telly Award-winner and graduate of Temple University. She joined CBS 62 in January of 2011.
