A program launched 18 months ago "IT in the D" aims to address the shortage of qualified IT workers in the Motor City. Quicken Loans, Compuware, GalaxE.Solutions, Fat Head, and Marketing Associates teamed up deciding they had a better chance of going after qualified IT workers if they worked together to lure much in demand workers against places like Silicon Valley than going it alone.
