SCORE THE ROAR PROMOTION
OFFICIAL RULES

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING.

1. HOW TO ENTER

a. These rules govern the Score the Roar Sports Trivia Promotion (the “Promotion”) being conducted by WXYT-FM (the “Station”) beginning on Friday, January 14, 2011 at approximately 7:00pm Eastern Time (“ET”) and ending on Saturday February 12, 2011 at approximately 6:00pm ET (“Entry Dates”).

b. To participate in the Promotion, visit one or more of the following four station appearances (“Station Appearances”) at the dates and times listed.

During each of the above listed appearances, the Station will register up to twenty-five (25) entrants on a first come, first registered basis.

c. Contestants may enter once per Station Appearance. Prior to participation, each contestant must complete the required registration form (while supplies last) with their first and last name, complete address including zip code, telephone number, and date of birth and place the completed entry form in the entry box. At each Station Appearance, twenty-five (25) contestants will compete in a trivia contest. Contestants will advance in the Promotion and one (1) Grand Prize Winner will be determined as described in Section 4 below. Contestants may not be a Semi-Finalist more than once during the Promotion. The Station is not responsible for lost, stolen, mangled, misdirected, postage due, illegible, incomplete or late entries.

2. ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS

a. The Promotion is open to all persons who are 21 years of age or older and who reside in the State of Michigan. Employees of Budweiser, employees at bar/restaurants where Station Appearances take place Rosie O’Grady’s, The Avenue, Clancy’s Irish Pub and Roosevelt’s), the Station, its licensee, the licensee’s parent, subsidiary and affiliated entities, Station’s advertising and promotional agencies, its participating sponsors, other radio stations in the Detroit metropolitan area, the members of their immediate families (spouse, parent, sibling or child) and those living in the same household of each (whether related or not), are ineligible to enter or win. This Promotion is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited.

b. Listeners are eligible to win a prize valued over $50 (or ticket prize valued over $100 per ticket) in a Promotion conducted by the Station only once every thirty (30) days and only once every six (6) months if the prize is valued over $600. Only one (1) winner per household is permitted in any Station promotion.

c. Entrants are required to provide truthful information and the Station will reject and delete any entry that it discovers to be false or fraudulent. The Station will disqualify any entry from individuals who do not meet the eligibility requirements.

3. PRIZES

a. One (1) Grand Prize will be awarded. The Grand Prize is one (1) pair of Detroit Lions 2011 season tickets. Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of the Grand Prize is $640.00.

b. Up to twelve (12) Semi-Finalist Prizes will be awarded. Each Semi-Finalists Prize is Station merchandise, which may include a Station t-shirt, shot glass, or other logoed Station item and the opportunity to compete in the Promotion finals scheduled to be conducted at the 97.1 The Ticket SportsFest at Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi, MI on Saturday, February 12, 2011. ARV of each Semi-Finalist Prize is $10.00.

c. Semi-Finalist Prizes will be awarded, and must be accepted, at the conclusion of each Station Appearance. Grand Prize will be awarded at the Promotion finals, and it must be picked up at the office of 97.1 The Ticket within thirty (30) days of confirmation by the Station that the tickets have been distributed to the Promotion sponsor by the Detroit Lions and received by the Station. Prizes not claimed within the stated time limit will be forfeited. Forfeited prizes become the property of 97.1 The Ticket.

d. There are no substitutions, transfers, or cash equivalents for prizes, except that Station may, at its sole discretion, substitute prizes of comparable value or cash. The prizes are expressly limited to the item(s) listed above and do not include taxes, gratuities or any other expenses. Other restrictions may apply.

4. SELECTION OF WINNERS

a. Decisions of Station management with respect to the Promotion are final.

b. At each Station Appearance, the first twenty-five (25) entrants who sign up will be selected to be contestants. In the event that not twenty-five (25) people enter the promotion by 7:30 ET, all entrants will be given the opportunity to participate in the trivia contest. At each Station Appearance, at approximately 7:30 pm ET, all participating entrants will be separated into groups of up to five (5) contestants per group. Contestants will compete as individuals against each other in two (2) rounds of trivia featuring questions from the topics of football, baseball, basketball, hockey and pop culture.

c. During Round One, each group of up to five (5) contestants will be asked six (6) questions ranging in point value from one (1) point to three (3) points. The point values are based on the difficulty of the questions. The first contestant to correctly answer a question will receive the point value determined for that question. Each contestant may give only one answer per question. Each contestant will receive a signaling device (i.e. whistle or buzzer) prior to the start of their designated round. The first person to signal in response to the question will be awarded the chance to answer.

d. At the end of the six (6) questions for each group in Round One, the contestant with the highest point total will advance to Round Two. If there is a tie at the end of the six (6) questions in any one group, one (1) sudden-death question will be asked of the contestants with the highest score. The contestant who answers the sudden-death question first will advance to round two. If none of the contestants with the highest score are able to correctly answer the sudden-death question, another question will be asked using the same elimination process until one contestant answers correctly.

e. In Round Two, the contestant with the highest point total from each round one group will be asked twelve (12) questions ranging in value from one (1) point to three (3) points. The point values are based on the difficulty of the questions. The first contestant to correctly answer a question will receive the point value determined for that question. Each contestant may give only one answer per question.

f. At the end of the twelve (12) questions in round two, the three (3) contestants with the highest point totals will advance to the Final Round. If there is a tie at the end of the twelve (12) questions whereas there are more than three (3) contestants within the top three scores, a sudden-death round will take place using the same format as round one until only three (3) contestants remain.

g. The Promotion Finals is scheduled to be conducted at the 97.1 The Ticket SportsFest at Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi, MI on Saturday, February 12, 2011. All twelve (12) Finalists (three (3) selected per Station Appearance) will be required to arrive at the 97.1 The Ticket SportsFest and check in with Station staff at the Station’s table in the bar/pub area at the Suburban Collection Showplace by 11:30 am ET. At approximately 12:00 pm ET the Promotion Finals will begin. Round One of the Promotion Finals will consist of three (3) groups of four (4) contestants. In the first round of the finals each group of four (4) contestants will be asked six (6) questions ranging in point value from one (1) point to three (3) points. The point values are based on the difficulty of the questions. Each contestant will receive a signaling device (i.e. whistle or buzzer) prior to the start of their designated round. The first person to signal in response to the question will be awarded the chance to answer the first contestant to correctly answer a question will receive the point value determined for that question. Each contestant may give only one answer per question.

h. At the end of the six (6) questions for each of the three (3) groups of the first round of the finals, the contestant with the highest point total will advance to the Championship Round of three (3). If there is a tie at the end of the six (6) questions in any one group, one (1) sudden-death question will be asked of the contestants with the highest score. The contestant who answers the sudden-death question first will advance to the final round. If none of the contestants with the highest score are able to correctly answer the sudden-death question, another question will be asked using the same elimination process until one contestant answers correctly.

i. In the Championship Round, the contestant with the highest point total from each group will be asked twelve (12) final questions ranging in value from one (1) point to three (3) points. The point values are based on the difficulty of the questions. The first contestant to correctly answer a question will receive the point value determined for that question. Each contestant may give only one answer per question.

j. Winners must be present to win but do not need to listen to the Station to win.

k. The winner must execute and return any required affidavit of eligibility and/or liability/publicity release within ten (10) days of winning or prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected on basis of having the next highest score during the final round. If a potential winner cannot be contacted, fails to sign and return the required affidavit of eligibility and/or liability/publicity release within the required time period, or if a prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, the potential winner forfeits the prize.

l. SportsFest will be held at Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi, MI. SportsFest is a free event to the public, and the only costs to this event are parking. All final contestants at SportsFest should arrive by 11:30 am ET.

5. CONDITIONS

a. Payments of all federal, state and local taxes are solely the responsibility of the winner. The winner will be required to complete and submit an IRS Form W-9 with the winner’s full Social Security Number or the equivalent for receipt of any prize valued at $600 or more or for any prizes awarded by the Station (or any other CBS Radio station in Station’s market) in a calendar year with an aggregate value of $600 or more. Failure to submit a complete W-9 or equivalent will result in forfeiture of the prize. Such winnings of $600 or more will be reported to the IRS.

b. By participating in the Promotion, the winner agrees to have the winner’s name, voice and likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to the Promotion without additional financial or other compensation, and, where legal, to sign a publicity release confirming such consent prior to acceptance of the prize.

c. Prior to awarding any prize or prize certificate, the Station, in its sole discretion, may require Promotion winner to sign a liability release, agreeing to release and hold harmless the Station, its licensee, the licensee’s parent, subsidiary and affiliated entities, their respective officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives and all of their successors and assigns from and against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize and participation in the Promotion.

d. If for any reason this Promotion cannot be executed as planned, including, but not limited to, as a result of tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Station that corrupt or affect the security, administration, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Promotion, or if the Promotion is compromised or becomes technically corrupted in any way, electronically or otherwise, the Station reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify the Promotion. If the Promotion is terminated before the original end date, the Station reserves the right to select the winners by random drawing from among all eligible non-suspect entries received as of the termination time/date or otherwise modify the procedure for selecting winners.

e. The Station, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process or the on-site execution of the Promotion. Failure to comply with the rules of the Promotion may result in a contestant’s disqualification and/or forfeiture of any prize or prizes. If the Station makes a good faith determination that an entrant has cheated or committed fraudulent activity in connection with a Promotion, the Station reserves the right to disqualify that entrant from entering and/or winning future Promotions and to prosecute and seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.

f. The Station reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the Promotion, including, without limitation, the substitution of a prize of equivalent value, which will become effective upon announcement. If due to circumstances beyond the control of the Station, any competition or prize-related event or travel is delayed, rescheduled, postponed or cancelled, the Station reserves the right, but not the obligation, to cancel or modify the Promotion and shall not be required to award a substitute prize.

g. The Station is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the Promotion or in the announcement of a prize.

h. For the Official Rules, send a self-addressed stamped envelope for receipt by
Saturday, February 12, 2011 to “Score the Roar Promotion – Official Rules” c/o 97.1 The Ticket, 31555 W. 14 Mile Road, Ste. 102, Farmington Hills, MI 48334. For the names of the prize winners send a self-addressed stamped envelope for receipt by Friday, August 12, 2011 to “Score the Roar Promotion – Winner List” at the above address. Official Rules and Winner Lists (when completed) shall also be available during regular business hours at the main offices of the Station.
