A serial bank robber has been sentenced to 25 years in federal prison for armed heists he committed in Michigan and Florida.
Police in Southfield are asking for the public’s help in identifying a distinctive looking man suspected of robbing a bank.
Police say the man entered a Charter One on Mack Ave. and Bournemouth at around 5:30 p.m. on Friday. It is unclear if the man had a weapon as he handed a teller a note demanding cash.
Allen Park Police said that the Chase Bank on the corner of Southfield Rd. and Rosedale was robbed Saturday morning around 10:30 a.m.
Authorities are hoping a $1,000 reward will encourage the public to help police identify a man suspected of robbing an Oakland County bank.
At noon on Aug. 31, an armed man made off with some cash from the TCF branch on Michigan Ave.
The hooded suspect walked a Fifth Third Bank branch, flashed a gun at the teller and demanded money.
Authorities are searching for a man who robbed a Comerica Bank in Harrison Township.
Police said that the man stood in line at the Charter One Bank on Mack Ave. and waited for other customers to be served, then pulled down a ski mask, walked up to the teller and asked for the money.
A $1,500 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of a suspect wanted in connection with a bank robbery on Sunday.
