Police are now searching for a man who is suspected of barricading himself inside a west side Detroit home with a high-powered rifle on Saturday.
A man who police say was armed with a gun and barricaded inside a west side Detroit home for 12 hours has been taken into custody.
A 19-year-old woman was taken to an area hospital to be treated for injuries reportedly sustained in the attack.
Police say it started with a call about a domestic dispute.
Thankfully no one was injured in an armed standoff that lasted roughly an hour and a half in Shelby Township.
It’s unclear as to what allegedly set 22-year-old Brett Lambert off, other than in the days leading up to the standoff he had been having confrontations with his neighbors.
