A body found bound and burned beyond recognition in a west side Detroit alley has been identified as a 26-year-old woman.
Investigators say the woman’s remains were found in the backyard of a home on Kentucky near Puritan.
Police said the body’s condition is such they’re not even sure yet if it’s a man or woman.
Some are speculating that the man in his 20′s may have been tortured and killed, then dumped in the neighborhood
An investigation is underway after Detroit firefighters find a body inside a burned home on the city’s westside.
Authorities say a charred body found in the back seat of a burning car on the banks of the Saginaw River belonged to a 27-year-old ex-con, and they’ve arrested three suspects in the killing.
Sheriff’s Sgt. Randy Pfau says it’s hard to tell how the victim died because the body is so badly burned.
