A warmer winter is being credited with contributing to an attendance boost at Campus Martius Park in Detroit this year.
The 8th Annual Motown Winter Blast is already underway and many are making it into Downtown Detroit to enjoy the fun.
The cold weather will be no match for the awesome energy outside, as people will be bundling up and making their way to the Motown Winter Blast, which returns to Campus Martius Park
Downtown Detroit is looking a little more “Christmassy,” with an old world, international flavor.
Summer in the Park is an 11-week program packed with music, comedy, art, fashion, local fare and family fun that begins June 14 and runs through Aug. 30.
Attendance is already up at Motown Winter Blast this year by about 30 percent. That’s according to producer Jon Witz who says they’ve had about 60,000 people come through the event so far.
Compuware Corp. will have its first recruiting open house in five years Tuesday, Feb. 22 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Compuware headquarters, One Campus Martius in Detroit.
