ISSYS, UM Team Up For Wireless, Battery-Free Cardiac Implant

A miniature, battery-free, wireless, cardiac implant being developed by a University of Michigan researcher and Ypsilanti-based Integrated Sensing Systems Inc. has received $1.5 million in federal funding that could get it to patients more quickly.
