To help voters learn more, CBS Local invited the two candidates to answer 10 key questions in the CBS Local Presidential Forum, which kicks off Thursday, October 4th, with the issue of the economy and jobs.
These finalists were chosen from a field of 1,517 artists from 46 countries and 41 U.S. states and territories. More than 41,000 voters contributed nearly 400,000 votes.

But it is the Bentivolio-Cassis faceoff gaining attention and expected to be a nail biter with results not known until well after polls close at 8 p.m. Some say it could come down to the counting of absentee ballots.
“The Congressman McCotter story get stranger and stranger,” said Johnson. “I have had great respect for him, but he just crashed and burned. No one has explained what happened.”
