The recall train at General Motors just keeps on rolling.
The popular Chevrolet Corvette and Camaro are just some of the vehicles involved in the latest GM recall.
“Some redesigns and new models replace a onetime star that lingered well past its freshness date, while others are the successor to a car that was doomed from the get-go.”
The cars were chosen for value, fuel economy, safety and style.
The probe covers about 400,000 Chevrolet Cruze and Sonic small cars, the Chevrolet Camaro muscle car and the Buick Verano small car from the 2012 model year.
A field next to General Motors’ Orion Assembly Plant, home of the Chevrolet Sonic and Buick Verano, will soon hold a solar array with enough capacity to annually power 45 homes in Michigan.
When production of the fuel-efficient 2012 Chevrolet Sonic and Buick Verano begin this fall, 40 percent of the energy to power the General Motors Orion Assembly Plant where they are built will come from burning landfill gas created nearby.
