Child Protective Services
Supporters of a Detroit mother accused of firing a shot at Child Protective Services workers and then holding police at bay for 12 hours say her 13-year-old daughter has been taken to the hospital and may have been sexually assaulted.
A rally was held on Saturday morning for the mother who fired a gun prompting a standoff with Detroit Police a week ago. This after Child Protective Services showed up to take her child away.
A not guilty plea was entered for Miryanne Godboldo on charges that include discharge of a weapon in a dwelling and resisting and obstructing an officer.
Maryanne Godboldo allegedly held police at bay in a 12-hour standoff when Child Protective Services arrived to take her 13-year-old daughter into custody at their west side home.
A tense 12-hour standoff ended early Friday on Detroit’s westside with the help of community involvement.
