Milford police say 29-year-old Chad Stewart made off with money meant for the Children’s Miracle Network.
On Tuesday, March 20 more than 50 Dairy Queen locations in southeast Michigan will be participating in Dairy Queen Free Cone Day to benefit Beaumont Children’s Hospital and Children’s Miracle Network.
In exchange for the freebie, guests will be encouraged to make a voluntary contribution to the local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital or other local charities.
Extra Life 2012 kicks off today with a simple premise: Play video games for 24-hours straight to raise money for a Children’s Miracle Network hospital.
“The show highlights Ethan’s extraordinary musical talents and will guarantee to have kids and the entire family on their feet singing and dancing,” organizers said in a press release.
Thursday, if you buy a blizzard from Dairy Queen, the ice cream shop will donate a portion of the proceeds to Beaumont Children’s Hospital.
