The Chrysler Foundation, the charitable arm of Chrysler Group LLC, announced additional grants totaling nearly $30,000 to support 10 Michigan high school robotics teams, which qualified to compete for the 2013 FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Robotics Competition Championship April 24-27 at Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis, Mo.

The Chrysler Foundation to Fund ‘Out of This World’ Science Initiative

More than 50 years since a Chrysler-built Redstone rocket launched Alan Shepard into space, The Chrysler Foundation, the charitable arm of Chrysler Group LLC, will present Warren Consolidated School’s Butcher Educational Center with a $17,500 grant to help send their science experiment to the International Space Station this fall.
