Joe Nathan, Alex Gonzalez and Tyler Collins were among the new players who chalked up some big plays on Opening Day.
“For me, the most important thing is for guys to relax,” Nathan continued. “We’ve got to go down there, continue to have fun.”

The Tigers will take on the Kansas City Royals at Comerica Park on Monday, March 31st at 1:05 p.m.
Barring any last-minute moves the 25 players currently on the Tigers roster will be the ones available for Opening Day on March 31.
