If you haven’t been to downtown Detroit in a while, you’ll notice some big changes. Mostly scaffolding and cranes as dozens of construction projects are in full swing.
A major construction project to create a roundabout at a popular intersection in Oakland County is scheduled to start this summer, and won’t be completed until 2015.
It’s the weekend again which means it’s time for construction crews to hit the roads.
Aside from the major reconstruction project on I-96, drivers won’t notice too many orange barrels on the roads this weekend.
MDOT contends that the only way to complete the project in a ‘timely’ manner, six months or so, is to work around the clock.
