Detroit gas prices
Gas prices are falling across Metro Detroit. AAA Michigan says the average price for self-serve unleaded fell almost seven cents in Metro Detroit to $3.76 a gallon.
Gas prices in Southeast Michigan have dropped to below $3.00 per gallon. But, a petroleum analyst says prices in some areas still could set all-time record highs for Christmas Day.
According to gasoline price website DetroitGasPrices.com, average retail gas prices in Detroit have fallen 6.5 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $3.38 per gallon on Sunday.
According to AAA Michigan, the average price of gas has dropped 12.3 cents, and is now averaging just over $3.44 per gallon statewide.
According to the gasoline price website DetroitGasPrices.com, average retail gas prices in Detroit have risen just over 5 cents per gallon in the past week, and are now averaging $3.54 a gallon in the Motor City.
The website DetroitGasPrices.com says average retail gas prices are averaging $3.42 per gallon in Detroit.
More welcome news for drivers as the work week gets underway. The website DetroitGasPrices.com reports that the average price for a gallon of gas has fallen 22 cents in the past week
