Fiat Chrysler is recalling approximately 1.4 million vehicles in the U.S. that are vulnerable to being hacked and controlled by an outside source.
At least eight people have been killed and more than 100 injured worldwide due to the problem.
Chrysler is recalling nearly 907,000 Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep SUVs and cars for failing alternators and heated power mirrors that can cause minor fires.
“It is going to be, what I’m describing as the most extreme, real world, performance muscle car ever built,” said Dodge brand CEO Tim Kuniskis.
The Dodge brand is extending its partnership with Syfy and Trion Worlds on the “Defiance” TV show and online video game with a new TV commercial and social gaming sweepstakes.
Cars.com announced the Dodge Challenger as the winner of its Shoppers’ Choice award.
