According to reports, a witness told police that two pickup trucks may have been drag racing north along the street when the victim’s car was struck.
Six drivers in Wayne County have been ordered to turn over the keys to the vehicles they used to drag race down Detroit area streets.
Drag racing is out of control in Detroit. That’s according to Sheriff Benny Napoleon, who said they’ve seen an increase in illegal street racing in the city.
Three arrests were made in this operation, guns and knives were confiscated, along with small amounts of marijuana and other drugs.
