Compuware Earnings Beat (Reduced) Street Estimates

The software and IT services provider Compuware Corp. reported net income of $25.3 million or 12 cents a share in the third fiscal quarter ended Dec. 31, up from $21.6 million or 10 cents in the same quarter a year ago.

NYC Hedge Fund Bids $2.4 Billion For Compuware

Compuware Corp. said Monday that it had received an $11-a-share buyout proposal from a New York City-based hedge fund firm, Elliott Management Corp.
